About

Description

Random Smelting

Random Smelting replaces vanilla smelting with a completely new system.

Every item and block can be smelted in a Furnace, Blast Furnace, or Smoker, producing a deterministic random item instead of the normal result.

The output depends on your world's seed, so every world has its own unique smelting recipes. The same item will always produce the same result in the same world, but creating a new world generates a completely different recipe set.

To keep gameplay balanced, items are grouped into value categories, meaning cheap items become other cheap items, while rare items transform into other rare items.

The mod automatically supports items from other mods, requires no configuration, and calculates recipes on demand for excellent performance.
