Reactive Music is a lightweight mod that brings a unique feeling of immersion into Minecraft. It has great tracks that are well composed and fitting for Minecraft. I would listen to these tracks by themselves. However, this mod lacks variety in its music. It get's a bit old after hearing the same couple of songs over and over again. This could be attributed to me spending a majority of my time in the overworld building, but many other players do that as well. I also find the pause between a track switch a tad bit too long and I believe a config menu could be helpful. Overall, this mod brings a good amount of great music, with a few minor issues.

Description

In ancient woods, whispers of magic danced with the wind, weaving tales of a timeless realm.

Reactive Music trades Minecraft's default music for something dynamic, reactive, and ever-changing. Including a collection of fantasy and celtic tracks to give an air of wonder, a whisper of the unknown, and the call of adventure.

Reactive Music is based off a music pack I originally made for the Ambience mod back in 1.12 (Adventure Redefined). Now rebuilt to be a standalone mod for modern minecraft.

Reactive Music (only on Fabric) requires YetAnotherConfigLib!

Custom Songpacks

We have an active songpack creation community on Discord in the #songpack-releases channel! While not officially endorsed by me, people have created all sorts of awesome musical packs you can try out!

A Note on Updated Versions

Currently not planned to support versions 26.1 and greater until Mojang stops bloating the game with features with an inch of depth. (yes i'm petty)

I do this in my free time and don't really make any money from it, and I don't really want to update mods for a game for which I have zero interest in the direction it's being taken.
