Revolution of Steam

Revolution of Steam is a continuation of SteamAgeRevolution, which was a Spiritual successor to Steamcraft2, which was in itself was a spiritual successor to the original Steamcraft around back in beta. Please note: Although this is a BrassGoggledCoders mod, because it uses the B.A.S.E library its configs are found under the ../config/acronym/ directory.

Important information for current release stage:

The core content of the mod is still pretty WIP but should be mostly stable. If nothing else, most things that don't have more than 1 non-steam-input tank work to the majority of the extent they're expected to. As the previous owner said, "At this point I'm fairly confident worlds won't explode, but content may still change dramatically or even be removed. You have been warned. [...] your help testing is appreciated!"

Patchouli is an optional but HIGHLY recommended dependency. When present, an in-game manual will guide you through using the mod. It still needs a ton of work, and will be rewritten (possibly from scratch) in the future, but as of right now, is currently the only available documentation. Suggestions as for how or where to improve the documentation, as before, are always welcome. 

Please note that the Alloy Forge and the Vat are both currently broken, alongside Pneumatics (which can crash your game if used... so please, don't). While some of the other multiblocks have little quirks that need ironing out, these 3 are the current Trio of Trouble, so it's recommended to not use them as of right now. I'd also recommend using another mod with pipes to move your liquids/items, as the in-mod ways are iffy at best right now.

Welcome to the Revolution of Steam! Revolutionizing the use of steam, the mod brings a lot of steam-power to an otherwise steamless world.

Currently, the mod provides multiblock machines for a staged tech progression from simple alloy creation by hand grinding through to an alloy forge and steelworks for advanced creation of alloys. Steel and brass are both vital components in the mod, and it's recommended you look into getting these ASAP to enjoy the mod to the fullest. The Boiler is the other critical multiblock, allowing the creation of steam to power your various machines and devices.
