Mod
RUTHLESS
No reviews yet
From mining zombies, to running creepers, ruthless is a mod that makes the game a lot harder by giving mobs more unique attacks and generally making them stronger.
Does not follow a specific thematic focus apart from vanilla Minecraft.
Centers on surviving in harsh conditions, managing resources, and fending off PvE threats.
Adds or enhances hostile creatures and enemies.
Focuses on zombie mobs, often with new types and mechanics.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

About
Description
Ruthless has plans to add more content than simply changing mob behaviour.
Ruthless overhauls vanilla hostile enemies by giving them new attacks, overhauling their entire statistics and making them just generally way stronger than in vanilla. Some mobs will have brand new things such as effects, items, blocks, and retextures. However this is not the case as of now as it only changes a few of the mobs in the game.
Mobs will sometimes rely on eachother and work together.
Ruthless does not change animals, golems, or bosses. But it WILL modify every "monster" enemy.
All mobs currently changed:
Zombies
- Zombies now run faster
- Zombies see way, way further than they have before.
- Zombies now spawn with tools way more commonly
- Zombies can use totems
- Zombies can spawn with pickaxes and mine through blocks
Skeletons
- Skeletons now run way faster
- Skeletons see slightly further
- Skeletons now have a chance to spawn with swords
- Skeletons now spawn with naturally enchanted bows
Creepers
- Creepers now sprint around
- Creepers can release gas which gives you the Dazed effect
Spiders
- Spiders now scutter extremely fast
- Spiders now automatically make mobs ride them
- Spiders strafe more commonly
Endermen
- Endermen sometimes teleport you a couple blocks up on attack
Phantoms
- Phantoms kidnap players and take them into the sky
Witches
- Witches will chase players
Most changes can be changed in configs so consider getting a config mod where you can turn them off in-game!
