Description

Summary

Semi-hardcore is a Minecraft mod that lets you set up player lives and health penalty on death. Basically Hardcore, but if you had more than one life.

This mod requires InsaneLib

The mod

By default, you start with 5 hearts and 6 lives. Each time you die, you gain 1 heart, up to the normal 10, but, at which point, you'll have only one life left.
Health gain/loss and lives are configurable through config.

Please note that this only works in Survival. In Hardcore you still have 1 life.

A command is available to manipulate lives / max health or to opt out of the lives and max health mechanics. /semihardcore <player> lives <get/set/add> <amount> /semihardcore <player> health <get/set/add> <amount> /semihardcore <player> optout <true/false>

The mod also has some mcfunctions integrated to add and remove lives/health via commands / advancements reward.
semihardcore:gain_heart: Give 2 max health to the player.
semihardcore:lose_heart: Remove 2 max health from the player.
semihardcore:gain_life: Give 1 life to the player.
semihardcore:lose_life: Remove 1 life from the player.
