Sensible Smelting is a vanilla-friendly Minecraft datapack that completely overhauls the game's thermal progression and resource reclamation systems. By introducing a balanced cross-smelting matrix across furnaces, smokers, and blast furnaces, it brings logical consistency, custom cooking speeds, and scaled experience gains to early-game and late-game survival.

The datapack expands the utility of your resources by adding intuitive recycling loops for old gear, streamlining the processing of forestry and masonry blocks, and giving new purpose to organic waste like rotting flesh. Every custom recipe features seamless recipe book integration, a custom advancement tree mapped to the L-key menu, and a permission-safe welcome notification upon entering your world.
