Signal Extender
No reviews yet
Extend directional redstone or comparator signals VERTICALLY without changing direction. Works with Create Simulated blocks like Navigation Table and Steering Wheel. Make your redstone looks neater.
Focuses on automation and resource processing through scientific and mechanical means, utilizing systems like electricity (RF/FE/etc), air pressure, or rotation.
Features machines that process raw materials or automation processes.
Mechanics and features that improve on the Vanilla redstone system, from QoL to compact circuit substitutes.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.

About
Description
Are you tired of hiding all the comparators and redstones on your build or create simulations? The Signal Extender block allows you to transmit analog redstone and comparator signals vertically through a single block column without extra wiring.
I was so sad of seeing all these comparators and redstone links making my create aeronautics airship's navigation bridge ugly. I just wish I could just put the steering wheel on the bridge and all the redstone stuff under the navigation bridge, which is hidden. Finallyyyy, now I can. And you tooooo.
The mod adds two separate blocks to handle vertical signal transfer, the Downward Signal Extender and (guess what) the Upward Signal Extender.
(Downward) Signal Extender:
Reads the signal strength (0–15) from the block directly above it, including chests, lectern, create simulated navigation table, steering wheel, etc...
Outputs that signal strength downward through the pillar of Signal Extender. This signal can be read from each sides of the Signal Extender pillar. Note: for blocks like navigation table or steering wheel which gives different signal strength in each directions, the extender also gives the corresponding signal strength in each sides.
Using a comparator on side of a Signal Extender outputs the highest of the signal strength on it's 4 sides.
Modded Components: Tested for compatibility with Create and Simulated components (including Navigation Tables, Steering Wheels, etc...).
Even though this mod works with Create mod, this mod doesn't require it to be installed to use. This is a standalone mod. Please let me know through comments if this mod doesn't works with the redstone blocks of your favourite mod, I will add it in the next update.
Please comment if you find any bugs or if you need any more features.
Feel free to use this mod in any public or private Curseforge Modpack.
