Six original ambient tracks replace every background cue in the game.

Minecraft 1.21.1 Fabric Forge NeoForge Client only

Title screen. Survival. Creative. Swamps, cherry groves, the Deep Dark. The Nether. The End. The credits. Even the dragon fight.

Wherever you go, Skal's Adventure plays — not the vanilla playlist.

Music discs, mobs, and world sounds stay untouched. Only the backdrop changes: atmosphere, not mechanics.

Soundtrack

Six equally weighted streaming tracks. The game picks at random — no favorites, and no way back to C418.

What it replaces

A full override of Minecraft 1.21.1 background music:

  • menu, Survival, Creative, credits
  • underwater music
  • The End and the Ender Dragon fight
  • Overworld biome music, including swamps
  • every Nether music event

Vanilla tracks from those events no longer start.

Install

This is a client-only mod. A dedicated server does not need it.

  1. Build the project, or take a ready jar from dist/.
  2. Drop one file into your mods folder — the one that matches your loader.
  3. Do not install the Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge jars together.

Who it's for

For packs where the vanilla score is already too familiar. For night survival, hardcore, and worlds that need a voice of their own.

Skaletun's Ambient is not a mixer and not a jukebox. It replaces the sky over the world.
