Description

SleepTogether

SleepTogether is a lightweight mod that enhances the multiplayer experience by allowing the night to be skipped when a configurable percentage of players sleep. Say goodbye to waiting for everyone to hop into bed — now, just a portion of your server’s players can trigger a peaceful sunrise!

Features

  • Configurable Sleep Percentage: Decide how many players need to sleep to skip the night (default: 50%). Adjust it to fit your server’s vibe!
  • Dimension-Specific Control: Choose which dimensions (like minecraft:overworld) allow night skipping. Multi-world servers, rejoice!
  • Simple & Lightweight: No bloat, no fuss — just a clean solution for cooperative night skipping.

How It Works

  1. When a player sleeps, the mod counts the total non-spectator players and those currently sleeping in each configured dimension.
  2. If the percentage of sleeping players meets or exceeds your set threshold (e.g., 50%), the night is skipped instantly.
  3. All sleeping players wake up refreshed as the sun rises!

Configuration

The mod comes with a simple config file (sleeptogether-server.toml) located in your config folder. Customize it to your liking:

  • percentage: Set the required percentage of sleeping players (0–100). Default: 50.0.
  • dimensions: List the dimensions where the mod is active. Default: ["minecraft:overworld"].

Example config:

Percentage of players required to sleep to skip the night (0-100)

percentage = 50.0

Installation

  1. Download the latest version of SleepTogether from CurseForge.
  2. Ensure you have NeoForge 21.1.128+ installed for Minecraft 1.21.1.
  3. Drop the mod’s .jar file into your mods folder.
  4. Launch your server or client and enjoy!

Compatibility

  • Minecraft Version: 1.21.1
  • Mod Loader: NeoForge 21.1.128 or higher
  • No additional mod dependencies required!
