Smart Zoom

Smart Zoom is a lightweight, client-side Minecraft Forge mod that brings a smooth, professional zoom experience inspired by OptiFine, while adding extra customization and modern features.

Simply hold the Zoom key (default: Z) to zoom in. While zooming, use the mouse scroll wheel to smoothly adjust the zoom level anywhere between 1x and 100x. Your preferred zoom level is automatically remembered, so you can continue using the same magnification every time.

Unlike basic zoom mods, Smart Zoom features smooth field-of-view transitions instead of instant changes, creating a polished and natural feel. Mouse sensitivity is automatically reduced based on the current zoom level, making long-distance aiming much more precise.

The mod is completely client-side, meaning it works on any multiplayer server without requiring installation on the server. It has virtually no performance impact while not in use and is designed to be compatible with shaders, resource packs, and most Forge client optimization mods.
