Description

Stronger Blocks adds durability to your world without changing the look of vanilla Minecraft. Protect your base from creepers, TNT, and modded weapons with reinforced and completely blast proof versions of common building blocks.

Why use this mod?

  • Defensive: Higher blast resistance to stop griefing and accidents.
  • Balanced: Harder to break than vanilla blocks, but still mineable with pickaxes.
  • Accessible: Crafted with basic resources.

Technical Details:

Here is a list of all the stronger blocks, with the hardness (mining duration), and resistance (blast resistance)

What this means

  • Hardness: How long it takes to mine the block (e.g., Obsidian is 50). The blocks are a little bit tougher to mine. (first row in the list)
  • Resistance: Blast resistance (second row in the list).
    • 20-24: Can survive standard creeper and TNT blasts easily.
    • Max: Completely immune to explosions (like Bedrock, Obsidian).

Tired of creepers and TNT tearing through your builds, or having no way to defend against OP weapon mods. This mod introduces stronger variants of basic blocks such as cobblestone, deepslate and their brick variants.
