Description
As you sail your ship through the light morning mist, you finally find it. This is the island you've been looking for all of these years. It must be, the shoreline before you line up perfectly with that of the map. Land Ho.
Down to the sand you tumble, unable to contain your excitement, it's right below you. Shovel in hand you begin to dig when, *thunk*, hollow wood you hit. Feverishly, you hop down into the hole and uncover it. The treasure. You fumble the key out of your pocket and into the lock and *click*, it opens. At long last it's yours - the fabled Gilded Cutlass.

Is a Minecraft mod that adds Cutlasses! They are light and easy to use, slice and dice through foes like butter. They are faster to swing than swords but do slightly less damage. Sweeping attacks don't tend to knock those you hit back that far either.
Ideal for looting and pillaging while sailing with your hearty vessel and crew.
A total of 5 Cutlasses are added for Vanilla materials: Iron, Gold, Diamond and Netherite which can all be crafted through the expected means . . . and the Gilded Cutlass. This is not crafted, instead found as loot in Shipwreck Treasure Chests, and Buried Treasure Chests!

What's better than new weapons to situationally use depending on playstyle and roleplay? Why that'd be Enchantments and Mod Compatibility.
Currently adds a single Enchantment, Balanced. It is exclusive to Cutlasses and has 5 levels, giving an Attack Speed increase of 0.1 per level.

A total of 8 larger content mods are supported via additional Cutlasses for their material types! An additional 17 ontop of the base 5. Each Mod Compat Cutlasses have behaviours typically displayed by other items from their family.

Supported Mods:
Lead Cutlass isn't real. It cannot hurt you.
Unless you're playing with Oreganized.
