Tavern Brawl (RPG Series Plus)

Tavern Brawl is a Spell Engine addon that adds the Ruffian armor sets, a set of Gauntlets to fight enemies with, and the Brawler's Ledger, a spell book. 

Brawlers fight using a resource called Grit. You gain Grit once every 8 seconds, up to 2. Gauntlets come with the Grit Those Teeth passive, which gives you a small buff to damage per Grit you have, when you land a hit with the weapon, for 2 seconds.

Brawler abilities consist of haymakers, rising uppercuts, and pummels - some of which apply Smash. Smash can either be up or down, launching the enemy up or down. If an enemy is already grounded when a Down Smash is applied on them, they instead immediately bounce, launching upwards. If they are in the air and collide with the ground after a Down Smash, their remaining velocity is dampened and converted upwards, bouncing. 

Grit is automatically consumed when you have it to apply Smash effects you apply on enemies to yourself as well. This launches you in the same direction you launch your enemies - either up or down.
