Description

# Schizophrenia (Forge 1.21.1)
**Developed by XALoEX**

Schizophrenia is a psychological horror mod designed to make you question the very nature of your Minecraft world. It's not a typical "monster chase" mod—while there is a stalker, the real enemy is your own perception. The world will twist, the sounds will deceive you, and the environment will slowly become an empty, oppressive cage.

---

### **Core Features**

#### **1. The Stalker**
A dark, humanoid entity (using custom textures) that follows the player from the shadows.
* **Intelligent Hiding**: He won't just stand in the open. He spawns behind trees, walls, and cover, watching you from a distance (25–40 blocks).
* **Vicious Attack**: If you manage to catch him in your direct line of sight, he doesn't just run away. He unleashes a bone-chilling scream, flashes your screen red, and rushes you at high speed before vanishing in a cloud of smoke.
* **Adaptive Spawning**: The more time you spend in your world, the closer he gets. He tracks the areas you visit most and will slowly move his "hunting grounds" to catch you where you feel safest.

#### **2. Visual Hallucinations**
* **Pareidolia**: In the corner of your eye, you might see distorted, creepy faces temporarily appearing on solid blocks. They vanish the moment you try to look directly at them.
* **Peripheral Illusions**: Dark, shadowy particles dance at the edges of your FOV.
* **Distortions**: Random camera shakes, "breathing" FOV wobbles, and chromatic aberration (RGB split) flashes occur randomly or depend on your health.
* **Derealization & Static**: Low health or high paranoia triggers a gray, desaturated screen overlay and random pixelated static/noise.

#### **3. Auditory Hallucinations**
* **The Voices**: Over 35+ unique chatting messages (commenting or commanding voices) that are visible only to you. "Look behind you," "Jump into the lava," "They are coming."
* **Name Whispering**: You will occasionally hear/see your own username being called by an unknown entity.
* **Sound Distortion**: Footsteps on grass may sound like bones crunching (`SKELETON_STEP`), and rain might carry the distant whispers of a Warden.
* **Phantom Sounds**: Door opens/closes that never happened, TNT fuses hissing behind you, distant explosions with camera shake, and phantom footsteps that mirror your own movement when you stop.
* **Anxiety Heartbeat**: As your health drops below 50%, a literal heartbeat sound begins to thump, getting faster and louder as you near death.

#### **4. Paranoia & The Mandela Effect**
* **The Mandela Effect**: Blocks behind your back will silently change. Dirt becomes Soul Sand, Stone becomes Crying Obsidian, and Oak Logs turn into Bone Blocks. When you turn around to investigate, they "snap" back to their original state, leaving you unsure if they were ever there.
* **Delusion of Persecution**: By default, all animals and villagers have been altered to stare at you with unnervingly tilted heads. They follow your movements with an unnatural gaze. (This can be toggled in the config).
* **False Information**: Fake death messages for yourself ("X fell from a high place"), fake player join notifications ("Herobrine joined the game"), and fake achievements appear in chat.
* **UI Corruption**: Your hotbar items will occasionally visually swap positions, or your selected slot will change randomly to induce panic.
* **Fake Damage**: You may hear a hurt sound and feel the camera shake without actually losing any health.

#### **5. Environment Overhaul**
* **The Great Silence**: Hostile mob spawning (Zombies, Creepers, etc.) has been suppressed. The world is empty. You are the only thing alive... supposedly.
* **Thick Day Fog**: A heavy, atmospheric fog blankets the world during the day, hiding the horizon.
* **The Void Night**: Nights are now nearly pitch black with extremely close-range fog.
* **Dynamic Torch Light**: Holding a light source (Torches, Lanterns, Campfires) in either hand will actively push back the darkness and fog, creating a moving bubble of visibility.

---

### **Technical Details**
* **Mod Loader**: Forge
* **Version**: 1.21.1
* **Config**: A file at `config/schizophrenia-client.toml` allows you to toggle the "Always Stare" feature.

_**Warning**: This mod is designed to be highly unsettling and uses various visual/audio effects (shaking, loud screams) that may not be suitable for all players._

Here is the English version of the description, optimized with short, concise section titles.
