Description

A horror mod made in 3 days...

I made this mod to break that classic feeling of being safe in Minecraft. It adds The Swapper, a custom-animated stalker that shows up when you least expect it, hunts you down, and messes with your head.
 
What happens in the dark?

  • He doesn't just spawn, he materializes. When he appears, he stays completely frozen for a few seconds, forcing you to just stand there and watch his silhouette form before he starts sprinting at you.

  • The hunt is pure panic. The moment he targets you, your screen goes dark and a custom chase music track kicks in. If you manage to lose him or if you die, everything cuts off instantly and goes dead silent again.

  • If he catches you, it's over. You don't just drop dead. Your camera locks onto his face, your character is completely paralyzed, and you're forced to watch a brutal 3-second jumpscare animation with a loud scream before you actually die.

  • He won't stay forever. If you survive long enough, he'll stop dead in his tracks, play a vanishing animation, and evaporate into thin air.
 
Oh, and he's listening to the chat...
If you're brave enough to type "hello" in the chat, he will answer you with randomized creepy lines. And if he replies with "Right behind you...", well... check your back, because he just teleported right there to restart the hunt.

 
Server Config :

If you're an admin, you can use /swapperconfig (with full Tab-completion) to tweak everything live:
  • Change how many seconds he stays before vanishing (lifetime)
  • Toggle the stalk music on/off (playmusic)
  • Switch the visual effect between the Warden's darkness, classic blindness, or nothing (effect)
