Description
The Unlucky Diamond 💎😈
The Unlucky Diamond is a tiny chaos mod that adds exactly one new item – a cursed diamond that does not want to stay with you.
It looks like a normal diamond.
It drops like a bonus from diamond ore.
And then it decides it’s had enough of you.
Features
- Bonus drop from diamond ores
- Breaking vanilla Diamond Ore or Deepslate Diamond Ore has a chance to drop an extra Unlucky Diamond alongside normal diamonds.
- No worldgen changes, no new ores – it just piggybacks on existing diamonds.
- Inventory gremlin behavior
- While it’s sitting in your inventory, the Unlucky Diamond has a chance to jump out on its own, landing on the ground nearby.
- When it escapes, it plays a loud “yippie”–style sound so you know it ditched you.
- If you’re holding it in your hand (main hand or offhand), that stack is safe – it won’t jump out. Only the ones hiding in your pockets are disloyal.
- Lava purification ritual
- Throw an Unlucky Diamond into lava and it will be “cleansed.”
- The cursed item is destroyed and replaced with a normal Minecraft diamond that pops back out of the lava with a second custom sound effect.
- Yes, your diamond literally jumps out of lava to come back to you.
