About
Description
Tower Defense Tweaks makes a few small changes to other mods while the game runs, using mixins. It was made for the Zombie Hoardz - Tower Defense modpack, so the pack can ship those mods unmodified, but it works in any Forge 1.20.1 pack that has them.
What it changes
Immersive Engineering
- The Gun Turret fires without ammo. When its ammo slot is empty it fires a free Casull Cartridge that leaves no casing. Ammo you load is fired first and used up as normal.
- The Chemthrower Turret fires without fluid. When its tank holds less than one shot it sprays free creosote. Fluid you pump in is used first.
- Both turrets still need power and a redstone signal.
- The Tesla Coil never targets or shocks players, SecurityCraft Sentries or armor stands, and it stops sending idle arcs when nothing is in range.
Realistic Airdrop
- The supply plane flies at a third of its speed, so players can see it coming and follow it. It also stays around long enough to reach its drop point at that speed.
- A landed supply crate no longer deletes itself after about 16 minutes.
Mob Dismemberment [Unofficial Modern Port]
- If making gibs throws an error, the error is logged once and that mob just dies normally, instead of the game crashing.
Good to know
- Every change applies only when its mod is installed. None of the three is required, and the Mob Dismemberment change is client-only.
- Tested with Immersive Engineering 1.20.1-10.2.0-183, Realistic Airdrop 1.1.0-1.20.1-beta and Mob Dismemberment 1.20.1-8.0.1.
- It contains no code from those mods. Source and build instructions are on GitHub (MIT).
Immersive Engineering is by BluSunrize and Damien A.W. Hazard, Realistic Airdrop by Ian, and the Mob Dismemberment port by ThatSoulyGuy, based on iChun's original.
