ZiNG’s Ores & Tiers expands Minecraft’s underground and progression system by adding new ore variants, material-based gear tiers, and advanced alloys and materials—all designed to feel natural within vanilla gameplay while offering fresh ways to progress.

This mod focuses on where materials come from, not just how they’re crafted.

🪨 Expanded Ore Variants

Ores now generate in many stone types, increasing immersion and geological variety:

  • Calcite
  • Tuff
  • Andesite
  • Diorite
  • Granite
  • Basalt
  • Terracotta
  • Red Sandstone
  • Sandstone
  • Clay
  • Pale Moss
  • Obsidian
  • Dirt

Each variant blends naturally into its surrounding environment.

⚔️ New Material Tiers

New gear tiers are introduced for existing Minecraft materials:

  • Resin
  • Emerald
  • Quartz
  • Redstone
  • Lapis Lazuli
  • Amethyst
  • Coal
  • Prismarine

These tiers provide alternative progression paths with unique acquisition methods.

🔧 Unique Weapon Progression

Unlike standard craftable weapons, tiered weapons in this mod must be discovered, not crafted.

🔴 Redstone & 🔵 Lapis Lazuli

  • Obtained through upgrade templates, similar to Netherite Upgrades
  • Found in mineshafts, not crafted

 💜 Amethyst, 🟧 Resin, ⚪ Quartz, 💚 Emerald

  • Weapons are found as loot in:
    • Mineshafts
    • Woodland Mansions
    • Nether Fortresses

Exploration is required to unlock the strongest tools and weapons.

Blocks and items for:

  • Iron
  • Gold
  • Copper
  • Netherite
  • Coal
  • Resin
  • Diamond
  • Amethyst
  • Emerald
  • Lapis Lazuli
  • Redstone

These materials expand crafting and building options for late-game players.

  • Golden Golem (spawnable by crafting spawn eggs)
  • Netherite Golem (spawnable by crafting spawn eggs)
