(This modpack is discontinued)
Yap session vv
The reason why this is discontinued is becuase this is not physcological horror. SO, I am working on another modpack. A true physcological horror experience. A TRUE fear of something that doesn't excist.
They are always wathcing ... Its only a matter of time before they step out of the shadows, and stop giving you grace. Eventually you are going to be no more than another victim, but until then thrive, survive, but most importantly never stop running...
(PLEASE comment your thoughts on the modpack, I am open to criticism)
What makes this modpack different to its counter parts?
Most horror modpacks just add together a crap ton of horror mods that just adds a guy that chases you around, and png jumpscares. This might be slightly scary for the first night, but after that it just feels repetetive. This horror modpack focuses on psychological horror - Ominous sounds, being watched, weird noises, odd occurrences, not jumpscaring you instantly, the constant feeling of something watching you 24/7. This will cause schizophrenia to take over. Eventually it will become so bad that you will start to scare yourself, because the tension will keep getting larger and larger as the horror mods progress into their different stages, when you hear a fox running through the bushes, you think your being chased, when you see a racoons glowing eyes through the darkness, you'll think its him again. Now i'm not saying that there will not be anything chasing you or jumpscaring you, but that will happen a lot later into your playthrough. Also, the horror mods won't feel repetetive, as I focused on mods that have a lot of different stages, and things they can do to scare you.

4-8 gigabytes of ram is reccomended
MOST IMPORTANT!1!1!1
It is Highly Reccomended that you play on a signle biome world. You can choose whichever biome you like as long as it is NOT an open field, like a plains or desert.
Settings-
-(Most important!1!1) Go into your resource packs and activate Horror Ambience Music, and Salty's Realistic Forging Retexture. There is also a texture pack called Ashen 16x, which I would reccomend to use, however it does drop your frames quite a bit.
-Play with shaders (obviously only if your pc can run them)
-Play on moody brightness
-Have Better Fog enabled (enabled by default)
-Have a render distance of no-more than 12 chunks
Remember, that this is a minecraft modpack, and you can tweak it however you want. Whether it be removing, or adding mods. You can do this by right clicking the modpack icon/picture in your curseforge launcher and changing the profile options to allow content managment.
(Not compatible for multiplayer- too many bugs)

Getting wood
You may notice that you can not break wood with your fists, this is because you now need to craft crude tools, crafted from rocks and plant fiber.

The patch of rocks on the left are the rocks that can be used to craft crude tools. Left click the rocks to pick it up. The rocks to the right aren't neccesarily needed, but I recomend to pick them up to turn them into cobblestone by putting 4 rocks into a 2 by 2 crafting space.

If you find any twigs on the floor harvest them by left clicking it to get sticks. Sticks will be used in almost all the crude tools recepies.

Next you will need to take the rocks that you collected and shift right click them against any hard surface to turn them into flint shards.

Then you will need to craft a flint knife. Use the flint knife to harvest plant fiber by breaking grass with the knife.
Using the plant fiber you can craft it into plant string...........................................................................................................................
Then you will craft a crude hatchet. The hathcet can be used like any other axe, but I reccomend crafting 2 since most trees require two axes to chop them down.
Next you will need to craft a saw. This is the blade of the saw.----------------------------------------------------
Next you will need to craft the saw handle.
Then you can finally make your saw.
