It's HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you download Optifine and enable dynamic lighting within settings for the best effect, unless you enjoy suffering in caves with no darkness cap!

The pack does not include Essentials, but it is now compatible so feel free to download it yourself and add it to the pack if you'd like to play with friends through peer-to-peer multiplayer - no server required!

Assimilation is Better Together makes a few changes to the normal Scape and Run experience, along with adding a ton of new features inspired by hack-and-slash/exploration games. It greatly increases the player’s mobility with a number of new movement options, and makes the game less punishing while still being difficult. It intends to make the game more fast-paced, rewarding risk taking and fast decision making. With a few multiplayer enhancements, the mod is geared towards a small group of players, although playing on your own is still just as fun. Seek out and slay monsters with your friends to stop the spread of the infection!

• Enhanced visuals with added ambiance, blood splatters, cave darkness, and new music and sound effects
• Parkour Suite: Dodge roll to evade attacks or close the distance. Press Shift next to a wall to wall-jump or step up over a block. Use the two at the same time for parkour action!
• Shield Break:Your shield will be disabled after it absorbs an amount of damage, but perfectly time a shield parry to stun your attacker and get a boost in speed!
• Simple Backpacks: A backpack mod that keeps your items after death, allowing a limited inventory space that you can keep between respawns. Keep your armor on death, along with your backpack - but the rest of your equipment is still lost.
• XP Matters: Your XP level temporarily increases your maximum health
• Rally Health: HP lost within the last few seconds can be recovered when you deal damage with a melee weapon, similar to the rally health mechanic from Bloodborne. Push the offensive more freely!
• NoCube's SRP combat expansion and Spartan Weaponry add a variety of new types of weapons, armor, and gear. Collect body parts from parasite corpses to build powerful armor and weapons, and develop your own fighting style with a combination of different equipment types.
• Bloodmoon: When the bloodmoon rises, survive a powerful horde of parasites… Event has a 5% chance of occurring each night.
• Use Simple Paraglider to traverse the landscape from up high
• Player Revive: When playing online, revive your fallen allies before the timer runs out to give them a second chance
• Proximity voice chat
• A variety of new cooking recipes to reward farming with high-saturation food items that give special status effects
• \Backported update aquatic makes caves and bodies of water more immersive and beautiful, along with bringing swimming and crawling to the game. Subaquatic and its dependents currently have a bug causing serverside crashes and incompatibilities, so unfortunately I have removed them for now. Aqua acrobatics still remains in the pack. If you are planning to play solo, feel free to redownload it. I think the glow lichen in caves + hardcore darkness adds a lot to underground exploration.

The mod list has been greatly trimmed down and kept small on purpose, with a number of performance mods that keep it running smooth, even on low-end computers.
