Description

At Your Servus

Servus, kid,

if the notary has done his job, you are standing on my land with this letter in your hand, looking for a house. Stop looking. There is none any more. I dug too deep. Sorry about that.

Your great-uncle Vinzenz Huber disappeared two winters ago. No body, no note, and no house: where his farm stood above Berchtesgaden there is only a meadow. All he left you is the land and a bundle of sealed letters with the notary, each marked "to be opened when ...".

Build the farm again, bring the old family trading company Huber & Co. back to life, and find out what Uncle Vinzenz went looking for deep inside the mountain.

A guided path with a story

FTB Quests leads you through eight chapters. Every quest is one of Uncle Vinzenz's letters or a page from his notebook.

  1. Arrival: a roof, a fire and something to eat
  2. The Works: steam, ducts and your first warehouse, powered by a coal generator
  3. The Cellar: Paracelsus' Journal and the four fires of alchemy
  4. The Power Station: coal is not enough for a trading company
  5. Into the Nether: tools and armour for behind the burning gate
  6. The Trading House: Huber & Co. lives again
  7. Uncle Vinzenz's Workshop: jetpacks, and the spirit that rises
  8. Beyond Alchemy: what Uncle Vinzenz went looking for

Four side chapters cover exploration and dimensions, Occultism, Apotheosis and mob farms, and building and decor.

Built around the Servus mods

  • Servus: Foundation: early-game machines, ducts and steam
  • Servus: Alchemy: Paracelsus' Journal and the four fires, your path to resource generation
  • Servus: Shuttles: warehouse automation with shuttles, put-away rules and autocrafting

Other mods fill the gaps: Powah for power, Just Dire Things for the Nether, Iron Jetpacks for flight, and Re:Avaritia as the endgame. The top jetpacks and the Infinity Catalyst need what you made in the cellar, the warehouse and the power station.

Good to know

  • Minecraft 26.1.2, NeoForge
  • Give the game at least 6 GB of RAM
  • A server pack is available for every version
  • Storage and autocrafting are Shuttles' job. There is no AE2 or Refined Storage, on purpose.
