Community Discord Server: -Biomech-
Curated Playlist I made for fun, listen to it alongside the game if you'd like : -Biopunk-
And now, your moody introduction...
Transhumanism. Augmentation. Obsolescence.
The boundary between biology and machinery has dissolved. This is a tech-focused modpack built for Neepmeat, themed heavily around body horror, self-augmentation, and the pursuit of the post-human ideal.
Inspired by the gritty atmospheres of Blame!, the bio-punk asthetics of Cruelty Squad, and the oppressive world-building of Mech Engineers, this pack challenges what it means to be "human. "

The core Philosophy: optional narrative
Unlike traditional packs that gate progress behind quest checkboxes, this pack utilizes completely optional questlines that do not gate any progression, but do reward you with lore and a deeper understanding of mechanics.
• Material-Driven Gating: should you choose to play this pack without using the questlines, progression is guided by the materials themselves. To reach the stars or the End, you must automate the collection of recources from the aetherium. (Ad-astra)
• Tactical Survival: Early game is a struggle. You are thrown in with minimum preparation, high-tier enemies from the start, and only 12 backups of yourself before death becomes permenant. This is brutal, but your new environment comes with a silver lining: technology. Tech is abundant and cybernetics are easy to obtain. By using your recources you can augment yourself beyond recognition and easily outclass other hostiles organisms. Even without learning the lore, you are taught that the world is a monster, and you must become a monster to survive it.

Current Features
• Curated Modlist: A blend of performance optimizations, staples, and hidden gems selected for thematic cohesion.
• Neepmeat Foundation: Deep integration with meat-based technology and bio-machinery.
• Custom UI: A main menu featuring audio and art sourced from my favorite media for scifi-horror.
• Open-Ended Freedom: No forced paths. You decide how to augment your play-through in the end.

Development Status: Early Access
This project is currently in its first stages. As a first-time solo developer, I am actively seeking community feedback to refine the experience.

Support & Hosting
In this section, I’m here to advertise Wabanode.
I have officially partnered with Wabanode for this project’s hosting. While I have not used their server instances personally yet, the team has been incredibly helpful, straightforward, and kind throughout the process of building this modpack. They have gone out of their way to provide technical advice and connect me with other creators to help make this pack a reality.
If you are looking for a host and want to support the development of this pack, please consider using them, and as a bonus, 100% of the proceeds from this partnership will go directly to MeatWheeze, the developer of Neepmeat, to support the continued creation of the bio-machinery that makes this pack possible.
Primary Contributions
• MeatWheeze: Developer of Neepmeat. This pack is built around the foundational bio-machinery and "meat-tech" provided by their work. All partnership proceeds go here to support continued development.
• Una: the current developer of the Yttr mod, and the nostalgic 1.7.10 vibes it gives off.

Media & Aesthetics
• Voidwar Team: Custom main menu assets sourced from Voidwar to make play buttons.
• MicroProse / Mech Engineers Team: Main menu audio track sourced from Mech Engineers.
• Visual Inspiration: Tsutomu Nihei (Blame!) and Ville Kallio (Cruelty Squad).
Community & Infrastructure
• Wabanode: For providing technical guidance, creator networking, and the infrastructure to grow this project.
Disclaimer & Licensing
This is a non-commercial, transformative fan project.
• Intellectual Property: All rights to the assets from Voidwar, Mech Engineers, and other referenced media belong to their respective creators and publishers. These assets are used here to provide a curated thematic experience and are not for sale.
• Modifications: All included mods are the property of their respective authors. This pack acts as no more than a configuration of these mods; please support the individual modders on their respective platforms.
