Description
What if Minecraft took a different path?
This pack explores the different paths Minecraft's development could have taken, in an attempt to create a Minecraft from an alternate universe. Some things will be familiar. Some will be different. You may experience whiplash or deja vu. You may be scared of things you thought were familiar. You may find your normal progression and habits no longer apply. You may feel the way you once did when Minecraft was new and exciting. What is guaranteed is that this will not feel like the game you once knew.
What if the mob votes went differently?
Creatures and Beasts, Critters and Companions, and Friends&Foes provide a new assortment of mobs that were either rejected from mob votes or feel like they might have been.
What if the weathering introduced with the Cliffs and Caves update wasn't limited to copper?
Bricks will crack, stone will become overgrown, and vines will creep with Immersive Weathering.
What if the retexture from 1.14 went differently? What if the sounds were redone as well?
Courtesy of the Reimagined resource pack and the Sounds mod, everything will now look and sound different - and some may say better.
What if the mob AI update went further?
Zombies, skeletons, and other mobs are now smarter and stronger, becoming a real threat once more.
What if hunger was never added?
With Spice Of Life: Valheim Edition, the hunger bar is gone: instead, food serves to temporarily increase your max health.
What if boats were overhauled for Update Aquatic?
Thanks to Aleki's Nifty Ships, boats are no longer items and must be constructed - including the new wind-powered Sloop.
What if glass, clay and stone weren't forgotten about in the Village and Pillage update?
With Clayworks, glass, clay, and stone now have their own dedicated Kiln serving the same purpose as the Blast Furnace and Smoker.
What if Create went with a different crafting system?
Yes, this pack has Create. It's not vanilla+ at all, I know, but I found myself missing it and added it anyway even if it doesn't quite fit the theme. To keep things interesting, Create Handcrafted changes most Create crafting recipes to something a little more manual and immersive.
What if more than one vegetable was added in the Combat Update?
With Simple Farming, you'll have a much wider array of crops to grow and harvest than the few you've been used to.
What if enchanting was added in a completely different way?
With Enchanting System Overhaul, enchanting will require a lot more exploration, a lot more obscure resources, and a lot fewer giant cattle farms.
This isn't even close to a complete list of this pack's contents. Explore it yourself. Discover what's new and different on your own terms. Experience the butterfly effect of what could have been.
