About

Description

Ah, it seems yet another faraway spirit has found itself in this realm once again. My humblest of welcomes, ye who have travelled from near or far. My name is Weruda, and I am the goddess of this world. Or rather, I was... You see, a foul darkness has seeped into these hallowed lands. And you may have the power to change it's fate. However, I advise you learn more of this plane of existence before you plunge yourself into what was once overseen by me alone.

I cannot quite determine how combat functions where you are. However, I am quite familiar with a style of combat... Similar to some faraway dimensions you may be familiar with. It is cold, brutal, and calculated. However, flashy at times, and with great flexibility. I implore you to explore all of your options and approaches to enemy encounters.

I am certain you can recognize these creatures. They bare a different name in my world, but do not be confused. These ARE Pokemon. The same beings wielding the same power, with the same mechanics you're familiar with. They should prove able-bodied companions during your journey, should you choose to embark on it. I suppose this makes my realm... Rather unique compared to others, isn't it?

My world is in no short supply of titanic beasts to conquer. By my count I estimate somewhere around... 18? Those are only the ones I know of, there may be more out there. Even still, they should prove an ample challenge against you and your Eidolon companions.

This realm has a decent focus on multiplayer, to ensure that these lands can be shared by all. You'll find that all of the mechanics, including bosses, story, cobblemon, etc. Have been tailored to suit a setting with many people, potentially hundreds at once. Whether it will hold during such harsh conditions has yet to be tested... It may require further investigation to whoever decides to host this dimension.

Explore an entire new dimension, Lordran. Something lifted right out of the games you may hold dear. In fact, much of this world has taken elements from other realms, such as the bonfire system, flasks, and much more. As for this dimension, however, it will serve as your final stretch. Your last push into the unknown as your toughest challenger awaits you.

I believe you'll find my plane brimming with backstory. I assure you, there is a rhyme and reason for why everything exists. A handful of items have descriptions, but most especially is the questline, which is filled with supplementary dialog given to you by true, named characters. There's even slight elements of moral ambiguity, if you find that interesting.

As much as I have tried, this is land is not free of bugs and glitches. Unfortunately, I do not have the skill to iron these out, as I am not a professional designer. In fact, I'm merely a hobbyist. But even still, these are the issues I have found and do not know how to fix. There may be more. If you have suggestions on how to fix these, be sure to comment them.

  • I have encountered times where the entire world freezes. The only fix for this is a game restart, which always ends in losing progress. I theorize that the game is attempting to load something that makes it freeze, but I cannot identify what it is loading. Tread lightly.
  • The game consistently crashes when generating a world, or relogging. Fear not! You never lose anything. So I have dubbed it relatively unimportant.
  • There was one point when I somehow managed to crash the game when interacting with a bonfire. I'm not sure how, and I haven't replicated it... My apologies if this happens to you.

Another thing I would like to add, This modpack is very difficult to run. I have done what I can to optimize it to my fullest capabilities, but the contents are simply too much for many computers. I advise powerful pcs for this experience. My humblest apologies to everyone unable to play this! I tried my best.

Thank you to this modpack for inspiring a lot of this!
