Deicide is a dark fantasy modpack inspired by Souls-like themes and mechanics, designed with challenging multiplayer playthroughs in mind.

Explore a world consumed by the Corruption, tied to the very being who calls upon you for aid : Acranaxios. Once revered as the world’s most powerful entity and the bringer of balance, his own power turned against him, shattering the world and leaving him weakened. Now, he summons you to help restore the balance of this fractured realm by reclaiming the remnants of his powers. But as the Corruption deepens and you learn forbidden knowledge, you quickly understand that everything is not that simple.

• Souls-like Combat : Overhauled combat system with Epic Fight at it's core, featuring true Souls-like mechanics : stamina management, localised damage, specific weapon abilities, and an emphasis on strategic movement
• Build Crafting : Customize your character with a synergistic system of gear reforging, powerful gems to socket in your gear, overhauled Enchanting with new and powerful enchants, Curios artifacts, and spells ! Food and potions have also been reworked to provide more interesting buffs with a Diet to maintain to gain several stat bonuses
• Dynamic Difficulty Scaling : Encounter a per-player mob scaling system where enemy strength is tied to your current progression in the story, ensuring the challenge remains relevant whether you are playing solo or in a group
• Environmental & Survival Overhaul : Manage thirst, endure fluctuating temperature and survive unforgiving seasons. The more you go away from the world spawn, the more powerful mobs will get, which scales with the dynamic difficulty !
• Cohesive World Integration : Enjoy a unified experience thanks to custom recipe overhauls and item stats rebalancing that weave all integrated mods together
• Custom Aesthetic : The world is visually and audibly transformed by carefully selected texture packs, mods and custom shaders tailored to enhance the modpack's atmosphere, paired with new structures and world generation
• Unique Content : Discover a brand-new dimension (WIP) featuring custom entities and structures, unique to the Deicide experience
