Linggango is a highly customized 450+ mod adventure pack with subtle Terraria inspirations.
You pick a class, a difficulty and a ring before you place your first block, and every weapon tier after that is locked behind a boss.
Currently in beta for active updates and polish. Join the Discord for serverpacks and regular development updates.

- Class System -
Before you spawn, you choose one of 13 classes. Each one has its own stat spread and an active skill, and each one gives up something real for what it is good at.

Classes
Vanguard +30% melee and +4 armor, paid for in speed and mana. Blocks with a sword.
Pathfinder +45% projectile damage and double draw speed. Chained arrow hits build a bonus that one hit taken wipes out.
Ironclad Slow and immovable. Absorbs everything thrown at you for 3 seconds, then puts it into your next swing.
North Mage A deep mana pool and stronger summons, with an overcharge on demand.
South Mage +50% spell power and +25% cast speed, and almost no defence at all.
Berserker Walks off one fatal hit. Rage burns 80% of your health for damage and attack speed.
Vampire Lifesteal and night regeneration, with a matching penalty in daylight.
Monk Double crits and +30% dodge, in exchange for most of your armor.
Miner Permanent Fortune II, and stone breaks in your bare hands.
Steampunk Machinist Extra reach, +50% mining speed, and repairs its own gear.
Gunner Gunpowder instead of bows, with an explosive round.
Gambler 10% chance to triple your damage. 1% chance a hit just kills you.
Scum Bad at everything, and the only class that can push the Cursed Ring to its limit though.
- Difficulty System -
A custom difficulty system replaces the vanilla one. Each tier scales mob health, mob damage and fall damage separately. There's more than just numbers changing as well.
Like from Veteran upward you also pick up bleeding wounds that keep ticking after you disengage, crippling effects that take your mobility away, and passive animals that decide to fight back.

Difficulties
Easy 0.5x health, 0.5x damage
Cozy 0.75x, with passive regeneration and water breathing
Normal 1x, the intended first run
Veteran 1.5x
Extreme 3x health, 3x damage, 2x fall damage
Torture 5x health, 5x damage
Chaos 2.5x health, 8x damage, 5x fall damage
- Unique Playstyles -
On top of your class, you pick a ring too. Which changes EVERYTHING.

Ring of the Seven Curses

Ring of the Seven Virtues

Or both, if you can survive it

- Overhauled Progression System -
Progression is strictly gated. Every weapon and armor tier in the pack, across every mod, is sorted into one ordered ladder, and each rung is held shut by a Keeper boss.
Iron → The Iron Colossus
Gold → The Goblin Lord
Emerald → Arion, Tyrant of the Emerald Wrath
Diamond → Eldorath the Ancient Builder
Netherite → Zoranth, the Forgotten One
Elvenite → The Elvenite Paladin
Voiderite → Vaedric, the Fallen Wanderer
Helionite → Zoranth, Newborn of the Zenith
Bloody → Sanghor, Lord of Blood
Hollow → Nyxaris, the Veil of Oblivion
Killing the Ender Dragon moves the world into Hardmode.

- Reforging System -
Any weapon, tool or piece of armor can carry a quality band, and where you found it decides how good that band is likely to be.
Seven bands, from Common through Mythic up to Apex.
Perfect rolls are rare, but a bad streak eventually pays out on its own.
A matched armor set gives you +20%. A perfect one doubles it.
Location matters. The Overworld rarely gives up anything above Rare. Mythic lives in the late dimensions and the boss arenas.
Treasure bags drop from every Keeper, and salvaging gets your material back.

- Combat Overhaul -
Melee is built around reading attacks and timing rather than trading clicks.
Attacks are telegraphed. Mobs wind up before they swing, and hold still while they do it. Ranged mobs hold their shot the same way. Step out of reach in time and the attack misses.
Parrying runs on a tight window, with an even tighter perfect frame inside it. Land one and you get hitstop, a screen shake, a small heal and a shove backwards. Perfect parries send projectiles back where they came from.
Perfect Hits turn a plunging attack into 1.5x damage and 4x knockback.
Bosses heal back up if the players fighting them die or log out, so nothing gets worn down across repeated deaths.

- 60+ Bosses -
Face off against an extensive roster of custom bosses, from Armageddon's Calamity line to Cataclysm, Mowzie's Mobs, Bosses of Mass Destruction, Legendary Monsters and Goety's Apostle. Every one of them is tuned by hand, and some get an arena dimension built for this pack. Preparation is essential.

- Quest System -
A detailed, custom quest book guides you through progression stages and mod mechanics. 109 chapters and over 4,600 quests, all hand-written, including tier lists for weapons, armor and charms, and full guides for every magic and tech mod in the pack.

- Beautiful World Generation -
Featuring completely custom terrain generation tailored specifically for the Forge environment, layered over Oh The Biomes We've Gone, Regions Unexplored, Nullscape and Larion. Structures are spread out properly too, so you stop finding three dungeons stacked on top of each other outside spawn.

The Nether roof is somewhere you can actually go!
Rolling netherrack dunes weathered with ash and everlasting fire, spires tall enough to be possibly worth mining, and a layer of ragged floating islands with glowstone showing through their undersides.

- Optimization -
Optimization is a core priority. Instead of just adding generic performance mods, the pack is manually tuned for stability, and 25 of the mods it ships were written for it directly, ten of those purely for performance.
Performance will continue to improve throughout the beta.
