Description
Contained Chaos was originally meant to be a small modpack for Create players to enjoy, and slowly became a much bigger pack with over 200 mods and tons of things to explore! From basic kinetic machinery and simple spellcasting to nuclear technology and mythical relics of power, Contained Chaos lives up to its name, combining all kinds of features and playstyles into one modpack.
For players who thrive in automation and tech, Contained Chaos has many mods to play with and a few meticulously crafted questlines to guide you along the way. Some recipes have been changed, removed, and added to create a new line of progression through the various tech mods in the pack. Some of the most notable tech mods included are Create, Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, and Applied Energistics 2. Many Create addons and other mods are included as well!
Outside of tech, there are many mods in Contained Chaos that create opportunities to explore the world and experiment with different types of magic. Mods like Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, Ars Noveau, Apotheosis, Blood Magic, and Botania are included in the pack for enjoyers of all kinds of magic! Other mods such as Dungeon Crawl, Cataclysm, Alex's Caves, and Regions Unexplored provide many unique things to find while exploring.
This modpack also makes used of KubeJS to create a fully unique experience with custom items and recipes. In the later stages of gameplay, end game resources can be made which are used to craft items that are normally locked behind creative mode, if you can manage to pull together all the ingredients to produce them! Plus, custom questlines and recipes create new challenges that are unique to the modpack.
