CRIW

Intro

The CRIW mod pack aims to add a ton of mods for use on a custom fabric server. The original intent was to add carpet and some QoL mods. This pack now contains a ton of mods for exploration, crafting, tech, etc.

Here is the list of mods broken down by general category. 

Tech Stuff

The goal of the tech mods is to provide additional depth to the game, as well as automation/enhancement to a lot of the mechanics. Applied energistcs is the big one that adds "energy" to the game and lets you create really complex machines. Pipe is basically what hoppers should be, but hoppers still have their place for like single block entity moving. Litematica and tweakaroo are mods that are used for making building easier. Litematica allows for the creation of schematics that you can plce in your world and build to, tweakaroo has a lot of nice features for building like accurate block placement.

Quality of life stuff

the QoL mods aim to add better client experience, they are mostly self explanatory. Minihud is great, configure it in the mod menu for what you want to display. wraith waystones lets you teleport after placing a waystone, so nice for large distances between bases, or even between dimensions. Roughly Enough Items (REI) is a must for seeing the non-vanilla recipes.
