Description
Updates will continue as of Jan 03, 2020. Unfortunately with the 0.05 update the file transfer from my old HDD had some issues that corrupted that update, 0.051 has fixed these and it is now playable again. (Nearly 40 mods were deleted and this caused the modpack to crash, who woulda guessed)
Early Note: Files up until 0.1 will be in development mode, meaning many things such as questbooks, configs and mod editors are in edit mode, this requires disabling in the modpacks configs. After 0.1 this will be done before the version is uploaded.
Modpack in progress, now that it has reached a stable stage it is open for play and testing. Combination modpack focusing on Magic, Technology and the Natural arts. You will be guided along a questing based story to remember what you used to be in a new world as you are taught the ins and outs of a variety of different mods in each of the three sections.
Each section will include its own questline and progression system to allow for a varied and enjoyable experience no matter the route you choose. Each can be played separately as it's own smaller separated quest line or be used in combination, though that is not required until the endgame.
Magic: Beginning with Witchery, Blood Magic, Thaumcraft and nearly two-dozen add-ons this will be a long questline focusing primarily on Thaumcraft as it has the largest and biggest number of associated mods. Choose to become a Thaumaturge, Witch/Wizard, Dark Mage or even combination of the three.
Tech: Purposely leaving out one of the most common tech mods, Thermal Expansion, this pack will heavily limit tech on a balanced progression system. Starting with Immersive Engineering you will progress through larger and costly multi-block structures to work into IndustrialCraft, Mekanism, EnderIO, Applied Energistics, Advanced Rocketry and in the late-game a heavily modified Draconic Evolution. Tech in this pack will be scaled for cost/efficiency, bigger costlier builds to begin using basic materials but smaller, faster machines later on with unlocked items and crafting components using earlier tech machines.
Nature: Bending the lines between Tech and Magic slightly, the Natural line can still be done on its own without repercussions. Starting off you have the choice of starting in the Magic oriented Botania, the Tech oriented Forestry or the simple life of an Agricraft farmer.
Many additional mods allow for experimentation and a personalized experience, these include Railcraft, Tinkers Construct, Reliquary, Big Reactors, Project Red, Buildcraft, PneumaticCraft and ComputerCraft.
Any major errors or issues with the pack, please message me with details of the issue, unfortunately I can not help with many crash-related problems to begin with though I may be able to help if it is caused by use of specific modded items together. As of the first downloadable file, it is suggested you have atleast 2.5GB allocated to Minecraft using JVM arguments, I play and test on lower settings that work fine for an older PC when doing stress-tests and consistent in-game world alterations.
