This pack appears to be great but quickly melts under scrutiny. Unfortunately there's rarely a good way to tell if a pack is good without sinking significant amounts of time into it. This pack contains an enormous amount of mods, most pointless, redundant or poorly balanced. Just figuring out how to progress is a nightmare because the pack is so overrun with filler you can't sift through it all. A good example is armor. This pack contains around15+ sets of slightly different looking Iron armor with near identical stats. All of which is pointless because you can just make the vanilla armor the same way you do normally. This also applies to weapons. Every random weapon and enemy pack is present and none of them are consistent. Boss fights feel impossible until you try a weapon from a different mod and discover it does 10x the damage. This is a sloppily constructed kitchen sink pack that promises a full fledged RPG and delivers infinite jank. I'm not angry, just disappointed in every youtuber that clickbaited this without testing.

It really is a great modpack. Espesially with all the content it has, but I just can't ignore the fact that it's performance can be awful. Also there are some problems with balancing in the early game, but I doubt it can be fixed, because it's minecraft.

When I found the pack the whole thing was unfortunately too late. The popularity sorting on Curseforge is a trap when it shows this because it's rife with bug and no one is working on anything anymore. The Discord server is nothing but people asking questions and getting scant answers to the best of the dwindling community's ability and it's all just a massive disappointment.

There are so many better packs out there. This could have been a great one if they'd stuck with it.

modpack is well optimized well balanced good looking and just the perfect modpack for an rpg literally there cant be any better modpack all other RPG modpacks are mid compared to this one, however theres one issue this modpack is great but the performance isnt the best,BUT LISTEN devs tried everything to make it as smooth as possible so its not the modpack`s fault neither the devs its just minecraft cant be any better optimized at least for now, if only mojang does something to help us out it would be TOoo smooth not just this but most other modpacks too and yea thats bout it defienetly reccommend it pick it up if u see it.

Just like every other reviews modpack is great but it is suffering from mainly the performance issues like bosses crashes the game when re-fought, sometimes the epic fight mod glitches and won't let you m1, lags too frequently even with high-end specs. But overall average modpack. Love it would fosho recommend if it is runnable for you.

Let me start off with the positives, Its a big modpack and they tried make a fresh new experience with classes, combat & adventure.
Now lets get to the negatives, they tried make a fresh new experience but ruined it by overhyping it, overmarketing it, making false claims about how long it took them to make it, released it as a just a throw everything at the wall and see what sticks, it had and still has very bad performance, and every update through its life cycle the devs just seem to be removing anything that is remotely fun, removing whole systems and mods from the pack that where the main parts of it and then on top of that nerfing anything and everything else. And please dont even try to add other mods to this pack its so unstable, it will break your world, full stop. Even at the time of writing this its latest release still has major mods within the pack bugged like hexerei and the dowsing rod because they messed up the implementation to view the item in
first person, quests will just stop working, lag spikes breaking main quests or the AI for bosses just randomly stop or maybe a main boss just stops taking dmg at all bug, bricking your world ect ect. Back in its initial release it use to have ars, they nerfed the hell out of it and then nerfed it some more and finally just removed its implementation altogether like what? The pack from release to now has never really been good. There was a lot of hype right up until it released and since then it has just been letdown after let down. Do yourself a flavor and skip it, playing for 25 hours just to get a bug in the main quest isnt worth your time.

Overall great modpack, but suffers HEAVILY from performance issues. I have a 4070TI and AMD Ryzen 9 5950X. The game is insanely laggy, exploring new chunks and various other NORMAL gameplay aspects causing crashes, with a dev team that seemingly does not care. Discord mods rarely offer troubleshooting, going as far as finding posts about the issues I've been having, being unanswered despite being years old.

At first, this pack is a dream. It immerses you in its world with a perfect texture pack, and enough of a foothold to get started, due to quests and structures. The promise of progression is there.

I picked the Astrologer starting class. It's supposed to be a magic class, which has a spellbook from the getgo. At first, I was spamming Magic Missile from a safe distance for 3 hours just to slowly take down a goblin fort. I figured that my damage was so low because I was supposed to be getting stronger, and hadn't done so yet.

Then I looked into how you are supposed to get stronger. The magic progression mainly requires a generic material, called magic essence or something. But to get it, you need to loot structures and defeat powerful foes.

So, my starting point is well behind the power curve expected to be ready for hostile structures. And, to get stronger, I need to defeat and loot those hostile structures. Seeing the problem here? Best case scenario, you are required to grind world-gen for the structures that actually contain magic essence, and then grind the enemies in those structures with a pitifully weak starter spell for hours. Worst case scenario, the enemies are not cheese-able, in which case you have no chance at all. From the get-go the progression is just unusable, at least for a magic character.

I decided to stick with it anyways, just to see if I could break through that progression wall. I always play with KeepInventory on, because losing all your items is basically resetting your progress in most packs. Turns out, that does not work with the backpacks from this mod. So once I lost everything in my backpack, and could not really use backpacks to carry the 10 billion loot items, I had no more reason to play.

It's a real shame because it's clear that the pack has its heart in the right place, for an RPG pack.
