Highly inspired by Sevtech:Ages. Has a touch of Enigmatica 2:Expert to it. Based on the Nemopack

I really liked this pack. The only reason I'm leaving this review is to warn others that Age 4, the final chapter is impossible to do within a reasonable time-frame. To unlock Projecte (philosopher's stone), you require 8 insanium dust to craft it. Seems pretty reasonable until you realize that crafting each tier of MA dust requires antimatter. The recipe uses an 8:1 ratio for every antimatter and using a calculator it takes 37.45k antimatter!? Even with 2 fission reactors running 24/7, it would minimum take a week of waiting to get enough antimatter. That doesn't even mention the sheer amount machines you need to supply it with fissile fuel. Idk if the modpack creator has finished the modpack herself, but I personally would not find it fun to do normal mekanism and then wait hours upon hours for antimatter.
Although I am a bit salty about that recipe, this pack was pretty fun. I liked that the primitive early game didn't go on for too long
I just wished there was a better way to obtain the antimatter or increase amount of MA dust to 8:2

  • Screenshot 1: Great pack, missed the mark on the endgame.
  • Screenshot 2: Great pack, missed the mark on the endgame.

BH_DP_Overview.png

The Decursio Team is proud to present to you the first installment of The Decursio Project modpack, only for Minecraft 1.16.5! Our pack includes a large variety of both tech and magic mods, to ensure that our players feel challenged all the way through their journey.
The Decursio Project has opportunities for a large variety of Minecraft players. The new players will be helped by our quests all the way through the pack, and the veterans will be challenged by the high number of modified recipes and mechanics.
Our pack is structured into Ages, through the use of game stages, similar to SevTech: Ages. However, the similarities end here, as the majority of the pack is based around the feeling of Enigmatica 2: Expert

 - Expert mode style progression, with many modified recipes to encourage use of every mod
- Initial starting stage highly inspired by Sevtech Ages and Terrafirmacraft
- A progression system based on T.H.I.S., similar to SevTech Ages
- A Quest Book which will guide you through the four major 'Ages' of the pack
- A configured Food Diversity system, designed to reward maintaining a diverse diet while not punishing a simpler one (thx to Diet)
- Revamped world generation through Oh, The Biomes You'll Go and a variety of other mods
-A Variety of structures and unique Relics & Artifacts to be found, encouraging and rewarding exploration while not necessitating it
- Optional challenges for the truly dedicated players
-A Space exploration tree required in order to progress through AE2 and Ars Nouveau
-A staged dimensional progression through Atum 2 and The Twilight Forest

BH_DP_Breaker.pngThe Project has partnered with BisectHosting!

BisectHosting offers quick, simple and high quality server hosting with over a dozen locations available across the world, ensuring low latency. After your purchase, the server is already configured and ready to use.
Use the code "DECURSIO" to get 25% off your first month as a new client for any of their gaming servers.
We recommend that you use at least 5GB to run the pack smoothly with 5-7 players.

Some Quests Related Pics

Our Pack is structured into multiple Ages. Each Age includes the following tabs:
- Gear (tech side)
- Arcane (magic side)
- Storage (storage related)
- Protection (armor/defense side)

- Tools (tools side)

- Useful Items (trinkets and other goodies)
Here are some pics of these tabs

1st Gear

2nd Arcane

2nd Useful items

4th Gear

There are lots of dungeons for you to explore. These are added by mods such as:

- Dungeons Arise

- Dungeon Crawl

- Brass Amber Battle Towers
- Yung's Better Dungeons

- Dungeons Enhanced

And more.

SERVER

- 5GB of Ram minimum

- When closing a multiplayer server, use the "stop" command in the console. Otherwise you might encounter some issues with your game stages (on a host, use the "STOP" button)

CLIENT

- OptiFine HD U G8: Can be installed for an FPS boost; it will increase the loading times quite a lot; DO NOT report any issues while you have Optifine installed

- Magnesium: NOT compatible

- Rubidium/Oculus: NOT compatible

- Try using 5-6 GB of RAM. 8 would be the best amount

- If you experience framerates of 1-2 FPS and you have an AMD CPU, you'll have two fixes:

X Turn off your Mipmap levels in the Video Settings (the pack comes, by default with the mipmap levels turned off, but in case that did not happen, turn them off for yourself)

X Install Optifine

- If you experience issues with your garbage collection, you might wanna try these arguments (thx you LadyLexxie <3):

-XX:+UseG1GC -XX:+ParallelRefProcEnabled -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=200 -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:+AlwaysPreTouch -XX:G1NewSizePercent=30 -XX:G1MaxNewSizePercent=40 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=8M -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:G1HeapWastePercent=5 -XX:G1MixedGCCountTarget=4 -XX:InitiatingHeapOccupancyPercent=15 -XX:G1MixedGCLiveThresholdPercent=90 -XX:G1RSetUpdatingPauseTimePercent=5 -XX:SurvivorRatio=32 -XX:+PerfDisableSharedMem -XX:MaxTenuringThreshold=1 -Dusing.aikars.flags=https://mcflags.emc.gs -Daikars.new.flags=true
