Diehard: Vanilla Reimagined

Disclaimer: This modpack was originally made for me and my friend to play on a small server. I am not good at modpack creation whatsoever. There will probably be a bunch of bugs and the pack will need a lot of polish. Any feedback or suggestions are welcome!

Turn minecraft into the true survival game it should be, while staying loyal to vanilla feel.

This modpack expands on the vanilla Minecraft experience while staying loyal to the vanilla feel, yet adding more difficulty to the base game. It's pefrect for advanced and semi-advanced players who find vanilla gameplay too easy and boring. This modpack was designed to be easy to pick up, bringing fresh air and immersion to the game of Minecraft without requiring you to learn too many new mechanics and getting a headache in the process. It might be difficult for new players though, as a bunch of mechanics are added and reworked to be more challenging! I did my best to keep the modpack lightweight so it can run on any computer.

What's new?

• Visual Enhancement Mods.
  

  The majority of them are subtle and were implemented with a thought of staying loyal to the vanilla look of the game just like everything else in this modpack. They don't change much but you will definitely notice them.

  Rubidium being the base of it all, with many more to support your FPS.

  Cause sometimes you gotta treat yourself.
  
• New Terrain Generation
  Powered by Terralith, Incendium, Nullscape & more!

  All in vanilla feel without broken loot.
  
  
• Food & Farming Mods
  Farmer's Delight and addons.
  
  
• Mods increasing difficulty
  Mining for resources is harder with limited drops and you have to take care of your thirst now too.
  
  
• Decorative Mods
  There is a great variety of furniture that you can use to furnish your house and much more.
  
  
• Classic New Dimensions
  Twilight Forest and finally we have Aether!
  
  
• Voice chat
  Chat with your friends in-game using proximity voicechat!
  

There are dozens of mods I am planning to implement as soon as they release on the newest version or they get ported to Forge, as well as if I find a way to add them without making the game crash, I have lots of ideas and I will try to keep updating the pack and making it even more fun and immersive. Some of the mods that are currently used might get deleted and replaced with similar mods so definitely mind that while updating.

This modpack has been made with an intention of being used on multiplayer. It's perfectly fine to play single but some mods won't have any functionality.

The pack is nowhere near being finished. Please keep that in your mind when you encounter any bugs and feel free to report them in the comments. I'm a dumbass but maybe I will manage to fix them somehow! We are currently testing it with my friends and I will be tweaking a bunch of stuff to make it balanced and fun.

Recommendations:

It is recommended to play without shaders or use Complimentary Shaders version 4.7.2. that come with the Modpack by default with premade config.

If you want to play on different shaders make sure they allow customization of minimal light level and turn it all the way to 0 as well as make sure to turn off glowing ores as the pithch darkness mechanic won't work.

I put a lot of sweat and monster energy drinks into this modpack. It ain't much in the end of the day but it's honest work. I hope you enjoy it and that it helps you rediscover the Vanilla Minecraft experience.
