DUE TO PEOPLE NOT READING THE BOOK AND SKIPPING PAST QUESTS LIKE A DUMMY:
You have a couple of ways with dealing with heat on the earlygame:
Stay on water , it will cool you off
Drinking WATER FLASKS FROM EXTRA TAN, each bottle is 333 MB, you can easelly afford that with a wooden crucible
DIG UNDER THE SHIP 8 BLOCKS, diging under the ground will help diminish the effects of heat on the surface, will let you work during the night and day nonstop!

PLEASE READ THE QUESTBOOK AND USE JEI. THIS PACK IS HARDCORE MODE (even if you play on normal survival you will be pushed into spectator when you die)


You just crash landed into a hellish planet. Its Dry, Hot, the mobs are deadly, and you have no water, or anything really to work with.

This is a hard pack, I do guide the play through the very start, and do give some hints at the possibilities they have opened as they progress. But there is NO hand-holding.
Mods have been tweaked to reduce overlapping content and to integrate them.
It's expected that the player knows how to automate a LOT of stuff without relying on applied energistics and know how to come up with creative solutions to the problems presented here.
A beginner player might not survive, but an experienced one might just make this seem easy. Enjoy your stay!

In this pack you'll need to survive the extreme conditions of this planet, while trying to develop the technology to leave this place and go back to space.
Ex nihilo, EXU2, TE and EIO are your best friend here. And if you learn PNC it will also be extremely valuable for your journey!!!

Travel to other planets in the system in search of materials to rebuild your spaceship, and survive even harsher conditions than before on space!.

Tough as nails has been tweaked quite a bit to suit the needs of the pack.

Credits for circuit textures: They are from mekanism, But they are free to use.

This pack is NOT crash landing, Crash landing is a Timeless classic back from 1.6.4, And I, Maze Maus, had nothing to do with it except love how good that pack is.
This pack however has a similar theme (Very hot desert survival, similar to Crash Landing and Forever Stranded), and yes, those packs are a couple of my inspirations.
Similar, but not a remake to my beloved timeless classic: (even if I wanted that I wouldn't be able to do it, simply put: those old mods aren't available in 1.12.2 anyway) , the start of the progression might be similar (UP TO AE AUTOMATION ) (its a ex nihilo pack, what did you expect?). However as you progress through the quest book you'll notice I have a very peculiar way of handling progression unique to this pack.
