Description

Hardcore Nights is designed to challenge veteran players who are tired of standard survival worlds where endgame gear makes you completely invincible. This modpack forces you into an unforgiving, high-stakes environment where survival must be earned, and every shadow hides a threat.
 
While the pack is built for a thrilling Hardcore World experience, you don't have to brave the dark alone. Playing with friends is highly recommended—thanks to Hardcore Revival, you can be resurrected by your teammates within a short window after falling in battle.
 
Be warned: although the journey becomes more manageable as you conquer ancient structures, progress through Tinkers' Construct, and forge superior gear, the early game is brutal. Setting up a secure, monster-proof base will take time, strategy, and a lot of blood. Be prepared to fight for your life before you can ever truly rest.

  • 🛑 Impiedous AI & Sieges: Powered by Epic Siege Mod and Champions, monsters are smarter, faster, and will actively tear down your walls to reach you.
  • 🌑 True Visual Terror: With Hardcore Darkness and Grue, nighttime means pitch-black visibility. If you stay in the dark for too long without a torch, something will consume you.
  • 🩸 The Bloodmoon Awakens: Random nights will trigger a Bloodmoon, preventing you from sleeping and drastically increasing monster spawn rates and aggressiveness.
  • 🛠️ Forged for Battle: Craft fully custom weaponry using Tinkers' Construct, Spartan Weaponry, and Spartan Shields to stand a chance against legendary threats.
  • 🐉 Mythical Horrors & Dimensions: Defend your world against the dragons of Ice and Fire, raid Hardcore Battle Towers, or escape into deadly new realms like The Betweenlands, The Twilight Forest, and The Midnight.
  • 🍂 Survival Realism: Manage your pollution with Pollution of the Realms, gather organic materials, and explore realistic environments with Dynamic Surroundings and Biomes O' Plenty.
💻 Requirements & Settings
To ensure a smooth, fluid gameplay experience without memory crashes, please configure your game with the following:
  • 💾 Allocated RAM: 8 GB is recommended for optimal and smooth running (the pack may run with less if you are playing on Singleplayer, but 8 GB ensures zero stuttering).
  • 🔧 OptiFine Required: You must manually download and install OptiFine 1.12.2 to handle the dynamic lights and shader options.
