Want to play modded minecraft but don't want to spend the time downloading the mods? We'll then this is the pack for you! infinita in potentia is Latin for unlimited potential! I've always wished minecraft had more exploration. With the 1.18 update, we got that, but I thought I could do better. I hand selected many mods and individually tweaked each and every one to fit the exact play-style I was looking for, making sure they all worked fluidly with each other.

Automatic Install (recommended):

CURSEFORGE LAUNCHER:  The Twitch Launcher has been replaced with curseforge's own launcher which you can download here:  https://curseforge.overwolf.com/

This is the easiest way to install infinita in potentia. Link your Minecraft game, go to browse modpacks, find infinita in potentia and install, click play, that's it!

Anyone moving from the Twitch launcher to the CurseForge launcher will still automatically keep all profiles and modpacks.

Manual Install (advanced users only):

• FORGE:  The RECOMMENDED VERSION of Forge for 1.19.2 is HIGHLY recommended! The version I have currently packaged with infinita in potentia is Forge is 1.19.2 - 43.5.0 and 1.16.5 - 36.2.34

• PARAMETERS:  The default 2GB of RAM that is allocated is NOT enough.  Recommend allocating 4 to 8GB's of RAM.  You can do this by going to Launch Options, enabling JVM Arguments, and changing "-Xmx2G" to "-Xmx4G".  My JVM Arguments looks like this:

-Xmx8G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M

• FILES:  (For manual install using the server pack only, which can also be used for client as well) Make sure there is nothing in your Mods or Config folders, then copy the folders over from this modpack into your Minecraft directory.

OPTIFINE WARNING: With infinita in potentia 1.19.2 - Release v1.2, Optifine will no longer work with this pack! OptiFine replaces and removes part of vanilla code the pack requires to function. If it ever gets fixed it would need to be done by Optifine and not me. Instead, we used Rubidium as an alternative for performance and Oculus for shaders.

⚠️ Disclaimer:

v2.0 is a significant evolution of the modpack and offers a much different experience from previous versions. If you prefer the older style of gameplay, you can easily switch back to any earlier version (like v1.9) from the "Files" tab.

We encourage you to try v2.0, but the choice is yours!

I’ve decided to step away from development — not because I’ve run out of ideas, but because I believe the pack has reached its full potential. It’s stable, polished, and exactly what I envisioned.
