About
Description
This modpack aims to convert Minecraft into an RPG, with things like leveling system, custom mobs, bosses and quests
Why Create? While I agree it feels out of place in a medieval-themed modpack, it's (unfortunately) required here for certain structure mods (like Integrated Stronghold and Integrated Structures).
World & Atmosphere
Immersive Medieval World: Designed for fantasy realism. Some biomes from Terralith and Regions Unexplored have been removed to eliminate anything breaking the medieval setting.
RPG Bestiary: Encounter classic fantasy foes including Orcs, Goblins, Draugrs, Ogres, Undead, Barbarians, and Knights.
Non-medieval animals from the Naturalist mod (such as elephants, giraffes, lions, and rhinos) have been removed to better fit the theme.
Reworked Crafting & Progression
Gear creation has undergone a complete overhaul: crafting armor and weapons requires refined metalworking rather than simple recipes. Additionally, armor durability no longer decays from taking hits—it only degrades upon death.
Enchanting tables no longer directly upgrade equipment, requiring players to craft specific items to infuse their gear.
Survival & Economy Mechanics
Sleeping is no longer a quick fix to skip the night, as beds can only be used when your character is Drowsy. The trading system has also evolved—villagers now demand Coins found in loot chests or dropped by Pillagers instead of plain emeralds
Villagers have been visually updated with realistic human models while retaining vanilla behaviors, and they now offer custom quests!
Bosses & Dimensions
Bosses feature dynamic multiplayer scaling, becoming tougher as more players join the fight!
Reaching other dimensions requires true progression: access to the Nether is gated behind defeating powerful foes, while the End Portal requires unique eyes gathered through exploration and boss fights. This portal awaits at the heart of an immense, heavily guarded overhaul of the classic stronghold.
Refined Balance
Player stats, leveling, and items have been rebalanced to prevent late-game power creep, ensuring combat and exploration remain challenging throughout your journey!
Combat:
Instead of the previous Epic Fight system, this modpack now use Better Combat for compatibility reasons
Note on World Generation & Server Setup: This modpack uses a massive custom structure for the start of your adventure. Because this structure consists of millions of blocks, world generation will naturally take some time. You may also notice abrupt terrain generation cuts around the structure's borders.
To disable the structure: Go to config/starterstructure/schematics and delete or move the The_Lost_Kingdom.schem file. After that go into config/biomespawnpoint/spawnbiomes.txt and add a "!" to "minecraft:deep_ocean"
For server hosts (keeping the structure): To prevent the server from crashing during world creation, set max-tick-time=-1 in your server.properties file.
Credits to TryzzMC for his Stonehill Castle that is used as the starter structure
Configuration & Customization
Structures: Tweak or toggle structure spawns in-game via Mods -> Structurify -> Config (many immersion-breaking structures are disabled by default)
Mob Leveling: Adjust overall mob scaling in config/autoleveling-common.toml
Dimension Scaling: Modify dimensional mob stats in config/mobscaler/dimensions.json (currently tuning Nether and End difficulty)
Multiplayer Bosses: Scale boss health and damage relative to player count in config/multiplayersbosses-common.toml
Damage Caps: Limit max player damage against bosses in config/SimpleBossDamageCap.toml
Armor Scaling: Fine-tune armor efficiency in config/armordamagescale.json
Mob Blacklist: Control specific entity spawns in config/badmobs-common.toml
Item Blacklist: Restrict or ban specific items in config/item_obliterator.json5
Sleeping Mechanics: To disable this feature, edit defaultconfigs/irons_rpg_tweaks-server.toml
