Description
This is a Forge 1.20.1 modpack that has been exhaustively curtailed for the Penumbralcraft Server. Players download this modpack to use on their clients. This modpack will not work well in singleplayer, all of the scripts, quests, and recipes are kept serverside and are not available for download.
This pack consists of a mix of technology, magic, and general entertainment that has a lot of everything but with extra emphasis on progression, magical rituals, late-game tech, base building, and deep exploration. The approach taken is that everyone should have a way to play and progress with their unique style while still being competitive in a cosmic-horror-themed universe.
What's in this Modpack?
🌳Explore: While building a home or base is a key aspect of Minecraft, exploration is not to be overlooked. This modpack uses several mods that help enhance the world through advance terrain generation and by adding new structures to explore, better dungeons, new biomes, and a unique dimension system.
🏡 Build: While incredible things can be built in Vanilla Minecraft, it can still be limited for some and is also missing a few things that help immersion for role-playing. create mega-generation facilities, automatons, gunpowder weapons, airships, siege engines, advanced portal networks.
🔮 Magic: Master the elements, create mystical constructs, cast ancient spells and more! Magic in this world is an amorphous and volatile force. All magic pulls from the same underlying natural rules governing the world but they're all expressed and executed differently for a wide range of varying results. You can study the ancient and forbiden to unlock hidden potential or extract power from the living. There are many many ways to utilize magic.
🐾 Companions: Build an army or hire mercenaries to protect you and expand your influence. There are many ways now to grow your sphere of influence. Will you recruit villagers to guard your fortress or will you build diamond golems to patrol the halls of your private nuclear magi facility?
