Description
Presto's Horizons: Factorized
Fcatorized is the second modpack in the Presto's Horizons series, given it's name after the idea of a modpack based around factories, more specifically, old fashioned machines based around Create, and Immersive Engineering, while also focusing more on a balanced feel that was completely left behind when making Age of Freedom. With this, the largest mod that received changes were Terramity and Lethality, and were given serious reprecussions in terms of the very late game items. As such I delved deep into a crash course into learning KubeJS and gave me insight in balancing via crafting table recipes and making new items to help combat it. Even so there were still plenty to do, and plenty to fight, with mods meant to help keep you busy at all times. There is a quest system that was more defined this time around but still could use some work, via FTBQuests, and serve as a way for new players to learn the basics of some of these more advanced mods, while still keeping more end-game related features to mods open for their own discoveries and figure out their own playstyle as not everyone is the same. This way quests were more for tutorials for some mods rather than a walkthrough so players could research, expand their factory, and enjoy themselves without the need to go "Did I complete this quest?"
With it also came a server that I gave a special own button to join directly to the server, but no longer works as well, the server has moved on and so you won't connect. That being said though, if you know FancyMenu and have your own server, think of it as a quick way to join your own server once it's set up right from the main menu.
