Description

Hello and welcome to my hexxpack for version 2 of hexxit, with a nostalgic design based off the official pack

It is a true challenge on hardcore play, so I hope you are up to the task, however it's perfectly viable on survival.

If you are not the type to struggle from instadeath traps and powerful enemies with random effects, highly suggest survival mode.

Hexxit has always been an encouraging part of my modded journey, and it's grown into a whole new experience with the 2nd version release

So I was inspired to make something similar and challenging for hardcore experience.

Many people are doing 100 day challenges, I'd like to see if it's possible to reach 1000 days.

~-~-~ Hexx2 Full ~-~-~

The Borail version is a standalone profile that you can use for survival, it does not relate to Aleris so a new profile is best.

I dont really suggest hardcore though it would be a 2nd suggestion if you really like difficulty.

It has most of the mods from the official pack, but with some disclusions/extras for my particular preference

There is almost no configuration to the modpack, I wanted it to be a natural experience, however there may

be performance issues due to some things such as slime islands, so you would need a decent pc to play.

The pack is not designed to use optifine, having several optimisation mods that tend to clash with optifine.

~-~-~ Hexx2 Hard4You ~-~-~

Hexx2 Aleris is a custom design for hexxit2 that has no relation to the official modpack but does have hexxit style mods included

You may use optifine with this modpack version, and it's best put in it's own profile, which you can select when you use the version menu

Many of the mods have been stripped away while keeping the most fundamental mods of hexxit in play

Battletowers, Hexxit Gear, Netherending Ores, Recurrent Complex, Infernal Mobs and many others are here to enjoy.

But as I mentioned there are some new additions inplace

Hardcore Revival, so you and your friends can play and continue to survive given someone can reach a downed player

Silent Gear, in place of tinkers construct, there are many modular designs for tools/weapons/armor making it much more flexible

Random Tweaks, adds many customisable things such as a custom cooldown speed, pickup arrows from skeletons, and much more

Repurpose, Adds some unique things such as Swift blades (no cooldown) made from vanilla materials only, and extra drops from blocks

NEI 1.8+ for the oldschool recipe viewer, JEI will still be present for recipe guies, uses, etc, but the top left panel will be NEI

I could go on but there's so much added, it is roughly 220 mods, and is not likely to grow too much over updates

I will be releasing updates in different 'phases' such as Alphon, Betas, Calculus, there's no meaning to these arbitrary titles I just like to use them.

Despite this being a custom project that is marginally related to Hexxit 2, I would like to give huge credit to xJon for the amazing effort in their new release.

And I hope to gain inspiration from that modpack in the future as I design this. I would like to clarify this pack is reserved rights and should not be edited.

If you wish to use this modpack for a custom project, you may ask permission and I will assess it with fair consideration.

I hope you enjoy!
