ENTER A WORLD IN THE SKY WHERE THE RULES OF SURVIVAL HAVE CHANGED
Skyrealm: The Descent features four brand new and overhauled dimensions that you must descend through to discover the secret of what has corrupted the Overworld.
SKYREALM: DESCENT IS CURRENTLY IN PUBLIC BETA TESTING
ALL CONTENT BEYOND 'CHAPTER 1: THE SKY' IS STILL IN EARLY DEVELOPMENT. EXPLORATION OF THE OVERWORLD, NETHER, AND VOID DIMENSIONS MAY LEAD TO SOFT LOCKING. THESE DIMENSIONS WILL BE RELEASED IN FINISHED STATES AS MORE CHAPTERS COME OUT.
THIS PROJECT IS NOT YET FINISHED, BUT WE APPRECIATE YOUR HELP BY PLAYING AND TESTING THESE FEATURES.
2025 ROADMAP
CHAPTER 1: THE SKY - Now Available for Beta Testing
Begin in a brand new dimension known as the Skyrealm, home to a diverse and unique variety of life. Mount new mobs like Flying Pigs and Moas as you hop from sky island to sky island to gather resources, upgrade your gear, and eventually descend below the clouds into the desolate overworld, which is now a dangerous place devoid of life.
CHAPTER 2: THE OVERWORLD - coming August 2025
Below the Skyrealm lies a desolate and barren landscape that was once the Overworld. Once a vibrant ecosystem and home to the Villagers, something has corrupted this dimension, and it can no longer sustain life. Hostile mobs behave eratically, new mushroom-based organisms have taken over the underground, and you must traverse this dangerous land to gather better resources like iron, as well as uncover the mystery of what truly happened to this once beautiful world.
CHAPTER 3: THE NETHER - coming September 2025
Cracks in the Bedrock floor have allowed the Nether to begin seeping into the Overworld. Enter these rifts to explore a revamped version of this familiar and unforgiving dimension.

- New tool sets like Copper Tools
- A new way to smelt and craft with the brand new Kiln and shaped Blast Furnace blocks
- Brand new world generation for the Overworld including Decayed Trees, new hostile mobs, and dangerous new cave biomes
- No more are Nether Portals. Descend into the Nether using Rifts that generate along the Overworld's bedrock floor!
-Uncover a dark mystery as you descend into lower and lower dimensions, each with valuable and unique resources hidden within.
