Welcome to TwoRealistic!
Say hello to TwoRealistic, the sequel modpack to my old TooRealistic modpack. I have been working on this modpack for a long time; and I hope it shows. Unlike it's predecessor, I've poured my heart and soul into making TwoRealistic and making it truly special. Every recipe is custom made, and I've gone through and retextured (as well as added!) many items and blocks to fit in. Gameplay unlike any other modpack awaits!
This modpack aims to fulfill what I've seen lacking in modpacks like RL Craft; they're just not realistic enough! While I, like many others, enjoy the modpack I've found that dragons, medusa and zombies just didn't fit in to a modpack aimed around being realistic. Additionally, the modpack lacked the slow progression and technology experienced throughout real history. TL;DR is: I wanted more! So, I got to work myself, and then came TooRealistic.
I hated it.
I put next to no effort in, and it ended up becoming a messy, glitchy inconsistent pile of dog shit. It was playable, sure, but it was also slow and boring and annoying. And a few of my mechanics to make it more 'realistic' just made it more frustrating and boring to play. Eventually I stopped working on it, and moved on to different horizons. Now, after 8 months since the first release, I've returned to remaster TooRealistic into something not only I - it's creator - would enjoy, but others as well. And here it is; TwoRealistic, my crem de la crem.
Of course, a project this big and ambitious will take time; lots of time. Therefor, it's first public release - version 0.1 - will be a beta, and the first finalized release will be once I've completed all technology up until and including the contemporary era. But until then, enjoy!
