this is a datapack my friend made that I uploaded for him, and I think it’s quite honestly one of the most unique experiences I’ve had with vanilla minecraft. it overhauls the game into being a sort of “eternal night” in which you have to fend off the darkness and explore the world. I REALLY like the nether overhaul (the norther) in which everything is frozen over, and I hope to see more features added to the end (the haven) when 1.5 releases!

it does what it says on the tin! a totem that prevents you from dying in the void. would rate it higher because it's such a simple concept that's done alright, but i cannot review this mod without mentioning this random test recipe that was left in. genuinely what is this??

it's a mod that adds compressed blocks, ranging from 1x to 9x compressed. there's not that much to talk about with this, but it's certainly one of my favorite compressed block implementations. that is to say that there are ways to do it i'd favor more that don't yet exist.

a nice alternative to other "loot display" recipe viewer plugins, can do what a bunch of addons do in one bundle. the block drop display is one i find especially useful sometimes. not much else to say about it

pretty nice mod that simply adds electricity to create. i prefer it over other alternatives like C&A or TFMG, as it's got a good balance of being easy to use and feature-rich. the motors for converting FE to rotational energy can be quite useful if you have a lot of FE gen but haven't set up create, and same with the generator coils but for the other direction.

me and a friend made this joke mod ages ago for no apparent reason, and it's certainly... aged. if you don't want to play an mcreator mod with little to no balancing, stuffed full of inside jokes that have faded into obscurity even for me, then this is not the mod for you.

played this with a few friends over a couple of days, and it's safe to say this mod is just as interesting as the series itself. that is to say, it's hardly anything of substance. the mod involves you talking to verity and trying to keep his "happiness" score up, but OooOOOo spooky twist there's something coming for you!! the "entity" he spawns after some time is really easy to outsmart, and the cycle of when he spawns it is really repetitive, with him just suddenly getting upset after a couple of days. also, the entire mod runs on generative AI, so if you're not a big fan of that it's more points off.

fun mod that lets you play around with the way you make your tools. an old classic that i've played with and loved for many many years, it's one of my personal favorites out of any mod, and a necessity to have in most packs i play. one specific thing i really enjoy is the smeltery, which allows you to melt down items or ores into molten metal, that you can recycle into more tool parts.

simply removes the need to have JEI installed alongside EMI, helping performance. there's not much else to say, it's just a useful mod.
