This is my first mod pack ever, so I have no reference to base my rating, BUT:

I got hooked into the concept of space travel, naturally, I like Sci-fi.

I'm not a hardcore gamer, but according to curse forge, I've put about 150 hours into this mod pack with a buddy over the course of about a month and we've finally been able to build a ship and go to space.

For a modpack about going to space and exploring, 150 hours in a survival world seems a lot, especially just to be able to reach space. Not to mention that the space part seems lack luster. I threw in the towel after we had to roll back our save numerous of times because we got randomly ejected from our ship, one or both of our games crashed, or we simply got frozen in time in the void of space due to some sort of bug(s).

Learning immersive engineering, mekanism, and create all at the same time was a lot, but I managed, and it was really fun. It seems that the game naturally progresses from the "stone age" to the "space age", which is a concept I can get behind.

The performance was atrocious, too. In addition to all the crashes: frame drops and stuttering even without shaders. I don't have the best PC, but not the worst either.

We have also noticed that different mobs spawn whether you are in a multiplayer world vs. single player world, not sure why this is the case.

We did play on hard difficulty and the early game progression wasn't too bad, just the space part was really disappointing :(

I heard the other "beyond" mod packs were better quality than this one, can't confirm that just yet...
