Clumps is great on 1.12 and some older versions, but it's just outdated and unnecessary on newer versions. As a past review said, the way the mod "combines" the XP orbs is in a clunky way, and while there is a slight performance boost on a big modded server or huge modpack or a huge world full of XP farms, many singleplayer users will never make enough XP orbs to effect performance greatly, or for this mod to have a noticeable increase in performance.

Sodium or any other modern alternative and any culling mod will make a far bigger performance boost than XP clumping ever will.

Not sure if anyone realizes, but modern vanilla Minecraft clumps XP orbs too! And it doesn't take a clunky mod!

I have no idea why this mod is one of the most downloaded of all time, sure it's fine but not necessary like some players may think.

Advanced Hook Launcher may be advanced in function and usage, but it is not an advanced mod. While a lot of similar mods want to deal with hook launchers, this one does it best.

Most are easy to craft, none use weird energy units or complex reloading/crafting, its just a straight up hook launcher mod, it truly does work in pretty much every single modpack.

Highly recommend!

Do you miss those classic Buildcraft-esque quarries? Like tech but tired of mining? Want those 1.7.10 quarry mods on 1.12+? This mod is for you!

There isn't much more to say about it. It uses easy fuels and easy tech, and really helps that mid-game slog.

Good mod all around.

I have loved playing with inventory pets. Some are extremely powerful, with cheap or plentiful or farmable food (so it can perform it's ability forever), while some are quite costly and not very powerful.

I'd say the inventory management part is a bit outdated. The fact that you can't "load" food into an inventory pet instead of just keeping it in a precious and finite inventory slot is meh.

Other than that, very fun mod. Be careful with some of the newer inventory pets i've heard (and experienced) some crashed and issues.

I do have to say that if you haven't tried this mod in a survival world yet, I highly recommend. I know I'm harping about the cons, but it's genuinely a fun and engaging mod.

RL Craft has amazing marketing. While it's a good pack, hardcore survival/adventure/exploration packs have been around for a long time, it seems that RL craft somehow distinguished itself as the "First" or "hardest" modpack of it;s type. While RL craft has gotten a bit more polished over the years, it is still not worth the hype and attention it gets online.

That first paragraph may be a bit harsh, but this is coming from someone that's been modding and using modpacks since 1.6.4 first came out. This is a good modern baseline for these types of modpacks, but for those that have played many modpacks, especially in this genre, it is not a new or very unique experience.

5/10. Play it if you haven't, but a bit overrated.
