Apotheosis is in my opinion one of the best mods out right now. Not everyone will be into Apotheosis because, like ProjectE and other mods, I find it absolutely breaks balance in an otherwise steady modpack.

Apotheosis's most prominent features are an expansion to enchanting and a new tool upgrading system that relies on socketing gems for increased modifiers. Hence the name, the sky is the limit to how powerful one can become when harnessing all of the mod's features. Want to one-shot a beefy mob with a stone axe that does 19 damage unenchanted with your armor that combined gives you a 275% speed boost and lights any attacker on fire while teleporting them miles away? How about marveling at a Sharpness 25, Unbreaking 18, and Looting 12 sword from the heavens? With Apotheosis, you can't literally become a god, but you can get pretty **** close. All of its features mesh well with each other and are well thought out, the textures are beautiful and the new structures breathe life into the otherwise dull caves and dungeons that sprinkle the underground. While not suitable for any modpack, it is definitely a fun inclusion if you want to feel the world beckon beneath you.
