About

Description

Aegis Accord is a combat rules and ally-protection mod built for complex modded Minecraft environments. It centralizes friendly-fire prevention, ally detection, and target selection into a single, configurable system designed to work reliably alongside large modpacks.
Fed up of your spells and summons targeting your friends and allies?

This mod stops that completely, and allows for per player set profiles!

Aegis Accord integrates directly with PantheonAPI, using its shared hub and console to provide a clean configuration experience without commands or manual config editing.

What Aegis Accord Does

Ally Protection & Friendly Fire Control

Aegis Accord intercepts combat events to prevent players, projectiles, and owned entities from harming allies.

It supports:

  • Player-vs-player ally protection
  • Projectile and indirect damage protection
  • Owned and tamed entity safeguards
  • Optional mob retargeting when friendly fire is blocked

This ensures that parties, teams, and cooperative playstyles remain safe even in heavily automated or magic-heavy combat setups.

Intelligent Target Selection

Aegis Accord provides a configurable targeting system that determines which entities should be considered valid combat targets.

Players can define:

  • Category priorities (PASSIVE, HOSTILE, MODDED, BOSS)
  • Entity whitelists for explicit targeting
  • Optional retargeting behavior when allies are protected

All targeting logic is deterministic, server-authoritative, and designed to avoid unpredictable combat behavior.

Per-Player Profiles

Each player has an individual Target Profile that controls how Aegis Accord behaves for them.

  • Profiles include:
  • Ordered target categories
  • Ordered entity whitelist
  • Toggleable features (categories, whitelist, retargeting)
  • Profiles are:
  • Saved server-side
  • Synced automatically to clients
  • Validated to prevent invalid or unsafe configurations

Pantheon Integration

Aegis Accord plugs into the Pantheon Hub UI provided by PantheonAPI.

  • From the Pantheon interface, players and server owners can:
  • Open the Aegis Accord configuration screen
  • Edit targeting rules and priorities
  • Apply changes instantly
  • Return cleanly to the Pantheon hub

Aegis Accord also publishes structured messages to the Oracle, reporting important events such as blocked friendly fire or profile updates.

Built for Modpacks

Aegis Accord is designed first and foremost as a modpack-level utility:

  • No commands required
  • No fragile config file editing
  • Safe defaults out of the box
  • Server-authoritative behavior
  • Plays well with automation, summons, and large combat mods

It functions fully with PantheonAPI alone, and expands naturally as additional Pantheon modules are added.
