This mod, as mentioned in the mod's summary, is an addon of Alex's Caves that turn a chunk of the overworld into an apocalyptic wasteland, utilizing the toxic caves, and several other alex's caves biome parts to create it.

This wasteland is a harsh climate, and survival is quite tough, but, if you are skilled enough, you can survive this wasteland.

What the mod adds:

The Toxic Wasteland biome, this takes up over 60% of the overworld, a highly irradiated biome that has fallen into a state of nuclear hell ever since the day of nuclear annihilation previously, reducing most of the world to this biome.

Some basics:

The water in the toxic wasteland is radioactive, entering it irradiates you

Some parts of the ground are made of irradiated dirt, these irradiate you if you walk upon them.

Even being outdoors for prolonged periods can result in adverse side effects.

The wildlife is very hostile compared to the regular overworld, and night-times near death sentences if you are out in the open.
