Better Portals Refitted is a fork of original BetterPortals.

Original Features

  • See-through portal without loading sceen
  • Supports vanilla portals, Twilight Forest, Aether, Mekanism, Travel Huts and AbyssalCraft
  • (Should) Compat with LittleTiles, Cubic Chunks, Portal Gun and SpongeForge-LTS

About Optifine

  • MUST disale Fast Render
  • MUST turn off Smooth World
  • No shader

New Features

  • Compat with Nothirium
  • Compat with Celeritas (Compatibility with forks untested)
  • Better handle of one-way portal (in my opinion)
  • Fix arrow being weird when teleporting through portal
  • Throwing Ender Pearl to portal will just bounce it back

Known bugs

  • Jump in the exit portal of Ender could stuck you in bedrock under it, just walk in
  • It is still slow to open a portal
  • Portal frame bounding box could be rarely buggy, don't play with it
