Better Slabs is a mod that intends to improve the functionality of slabs by adding vertical variants to all slabs, modded or vanilla. Unlike other vertical slab mods, Better Slabs automatically makes vertical slabs by generating resources at runtime. This eliminates the need for a separate vertical slab item, or the need to manually add support for other mods. So what are you waiting for? Give it a download and try it out!

Do you have trouble placing slabs where you want to? Introducing placement modes! there are 3 placement modes:

- All: this places normally for the mod and will put a slab on the selected block face

-Horizontal Only: this will only place horizontal slabs (this is identical to vanilla slab placement)

-Vertical Only: this will only place vertical slabs

these can all be cycled through with "v" by default, but this can be changed in controls.

Mod packs

You are free to use this mod in any modpacks you make, but I would prefer if you had some kind of link back to this page.

NOTE: this is a fabric mod and I have no intention of releasing a forge version.

OTHER NOTE: please try to use the latest version of the mod compatible with your version, you can find the compatibility range on the second half of the release name.

NOTE THE THIRD: I have no intention of backporting this mod, even if it sounds easy trust me it's harder than it looks. If you wish to do this then feel free this mod uses MIT license
