What is BHSF?

BHSF Otherwise Body Health System FORKED is a well, you probably guessed it. Hard fork of the original project "Body Health System" which aims to improve and fix bugs within the project, as it has since been long abandoned by its original maintainer.

But what does it actually do? BHSF is a revamp of the minecraft health system. It splits your health pool into 8 seperate part, as well as a bone system.

It's supposed to be spiritual successor to Body Health System

Why!?!? Because I wanted a usable somewhat realistic health system mod for my modpack (RLFabric)

• Adrenaline, instead of immediately getting swarmed and getting slowness IV, you have a chance to escape with adrenaline! Gives you a grace period before your body starts feeling the affects of your injuries…

• Becoming a cripple! If you break your legs, you can't walk, well until you heal yourself. Or perish…

• Splints, Chest braces, and Akle braces, for all your bone healing needs!

• Dressing! More health if used with Plaster

• Arrow raycast. BHS just randomly assigned damage, now it'll track where you're hit!

• Smarter Plaster application. Tends to the most injured and critical parts of your body first!

• Whole new bone system for more indepth mechanics, and additional challenge.

• Revival system intergrated into the mod. You can now revive friends as long as they still have a head! More severe injuries will require trauma kits… (torso broken)

Mod compatibilities Should be compatible with most mods.

Mod incompatibilties Starting BHSF 4.3+ any mod that adds a revival system will be incompatible. Notably Hardcore Revival due to the new inbuilt revival system.

Why was BHSF created?

Mostly out of frustration with the lack of realistic body health systems. None of them really go indepth with their mechanics, and lack of customizability to fit every users needs.
